PRE-PLAYOFFS MEGATHREAD

Literally we cannot lose, I've done the research.

LeBron wins a championship every season following a Kendrick Lamar album drop (excluding To Pimp a Butterfly, more on this later).

July 2, 2011. Kendrick Lamar releases his debut album "Section.80". This comes 3 weeks after LeBron's loss to Dallas in the Finals his first year in Miami. A fire was lit (aye lmao is lit doe) within James's soul. LeBron proceeds to secure his first championship.

October 22, 2012. Kendrick releases "Good Kid, M.A.A.D City". This comes in the midst of the 2012-2013 NBA Season. Some experts named /u/RileySmiley22 claim this was the sole reason for the 27-game win streak by Miami between February 3, 2013 and March 27, 2013. Miami goes on to repeat on fueled by a fire comprised only of Kendricks verses and beats.

Then a drought comes. No Kendrick album during the 2013-2014 season. LeBron loses. Some were surprised, I was not.

March 15, 2015. To Pimp a Butterfly drops. Cavs meet the warriors in the finals just 3 short months later. This shit banged. There's only one problem with this release. This shit banged TOO hard. This shit banged K.Love and Uncle Drew into injury (one can assume their body was exhausted from excessive dancing to the sick tracks). LeBron, however, was fueled by the fire that was TPAB, unfortunately one man cannot channel Kendrick alone. LeBron fell.

March 2016. The playoffs were approaching and LeBron realized something very, very dangerous. There hadn't been a Kendrick drop, nor any talk of one, in a year. The King cut out the middle man, called Kendrick out, and blessed us with Untitled Unmastered. This was the key. Only 6 bangers. Exactly the fuel our team needed to take the championship.

April 14, 2016. One day before the playoffs.

Damn.
