Prediagnosis megathread 2

Thank you. This shit is rough. No one thinks it’s going to happen to them until you suddenly get that call or have that talk. Nothing can really prepare you for it, and your entire future kind of flashes before your eyes. What might be and what might not be.

Again, the good news is this is very much beatable compared to just about any other kind of cancer. That’s not much consolation right now I know, but it could be much worse. Keep your friends and family close as you proceed through the process - they’ll be what gets you through it all. Anytime you’re feeling down, just think of your child and how you want to be there for them, and that will help. You have to be a fighter until you’re finished with it. And you can always reach out on here if you need someone to chat with or even if you just need to vent. We’ve all been there.
