Our president and legislative branch don't want to do shit. Both sides of the aisle sitting on their hands. It is crazy to think that when 9/11 happened, we lost many civilians and fought enemy unknown. Here the enemy is known, it is evident that civilians are targets, and we have the power to do much but yet do so little. The gravity of this situation is so bad and gets worse by countries lack of meaningful action. Imagine if any reasonable military stepped foot into Ukraine to support Ukraine, Russia would have to immediately open communication. After resolution happens, the world sanctions the crap out of Russia, not this small slap on the wrist. The thing that scares me is if this is how we deal with Russia Ukraine, then we have no hope for when North Korea and South Korea go back to war and millions of South Koreans living in Seoul die in the first few hours from artillery bombardment and possibly nuclear strike.
