Problem with fellow roommate. MO

Some states have statutes that allow a person to break a lease without penalty if they are the victim of domestic violence. Language varies, but I can't find such a law for your state. Will keep looking, but unless one exists that isn't an option.

There are two types of orders of protection: temporary (which go into place immediately and last for 20 days) and final (can last for a specific period of time or remain in effect permanently). The hearing is for the final order of protection.

If he has an OOP of either variety it will state what he cannot do, where he cannot be, who he cannot contact. If he breaks the OOP, call the police and he will presumably go to jail. Read this for more.
