Professional MUAS what has been your worst experience?

I do historically accurate hair and make up for the history re-enactors for a "living history" museum. This particular gig was for a specific event set in the post war 40's. The event was outdoors in 95 degree summer heat. I had specific instructions from the costume department and did lots of legwork outside work which all added together for me being very over prepared for the dozen or so teenage workers I had to doll up for their shifts. After spending hours on details, each worker would come back from break with all their make up sweat off and their hair sopping wet from sweat. I spent 4 hours extra on touch ups and never got paid for the extra time because it was not budgeted for. Did I mention that I was required to take photos of before and after and was reprimanded for not ensuring that my models wouldn't sweat through their makeup, even though I DID prepare for it by using Ben Nye no sweat setting spray and antiperspirant powder and doing extra touch ups. Didn't matter, they looked unprofessional by the end of their shifts and so I got an earful from a business manager who had no idea what he was talking about.
