Prove me wrong - Pain/Nagato are highly underrated and were arguably the strongest characters in the entire show besides Madara/overpowered alien dudes in Boruto

The dude single handedly melted the entire leaf village, killed hundreds of high ranked ninjas with minimal effort including kakashi.

This is not a good enough feat to consider him as one of the strongest in the series

He was already defeated at that point

Naruto was exhausted and Nagato still had enough chakra to use that insane jutsu that revived everyone

It has nothing to do with chakra it flat out kills you, obito not dying immediately is a plothole in itself.

Your points prove that pain is strong, but not one of the strongest characters in naruto, prime/edo nagato is a different discussion, definitely top 20 strongest naruto characters.
