For the record, I don't share information to be respected. You can hate on me (as a lot of people do) or you can appreciate it. I don't particularly care either way. I provide information to the community, because there are usually hundreds of comments from people wondering what was added in every major patch, or what the stats on items are that were added to the game seconds ago, or wanting to know what quests were added, and so on... I provide information because I can. I don't do it to be popular or liked. It's nice to be appreciated sometimes, but I don't really have a need for it either way.
You judging me to be an ass from that one comment is quite presumptuous of you, simply because I read something into your message that I thought was as clear as day. You know, that thing that everybody does all the time when they read something? You see the message, and you interpret its meaning. Clearly I got your meaning wrong, but it's hard to tell when you only made one sentence. Try being in my shoes for a few months and see if you don't start making assumptions when people say something very close to what others have said over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over again. Shall I search and provide links for the comments that always claim that the Maintenance is for the event, thus defending my assumptive and borderline unnecessary rebuttal? If you don't want posts taken the wrong way, perhaps you should expand that message to be more than one sentence. That way, you do not have to take the time later on to try to rip someone a new one when they read into it the wrong way based off of a long history of evidence supporting their point of view.
You seem to be quite sensitive to being talked to. I'll take this opportunity to stop talking and prevent you from having further discomfort from posts that you deem to be unnecessary.
TL:DR: A simple "Sorry, you misread my 59-character post wrong" would've sufficed, but you went on a mini-rant, and now you made me go on a mini-rant in return :) Let's just stop, and have you think of me as an ass because I dared to have the gall to assume something.
