Question to the mods: Can we have developer flairs in this sub?

I know this thread is old but i have also some suggestions for improvements for this subreddit (/u/500500).

  • Flair icons (not only text) for journalists/blogger, devs and "officials" from valve and htc, like in r/oculus. For example the green htc logo or the blue vive triangle, a small Valve logo, and more generic: one game dev icon and one for journalists/blogger. So only 4 more.
  • too much text in the sidebar. For example cut the guidelines down to bullet points and maybe make the guidelines section and the r/vive is a community...section with the text under it to one section.
  • put links to all relevant official websites and forums in the sidebar (vive, vivedev, viveblog, steamvr, steamvr developer hardware)
  • put a (event) calendar with clear upcoming dates in the sidebar or do it like in r/steamvr, which also links then to the official page of these events or the announcements of them
  • remove the tabs gilded and promoted, it's too much and unnecessary filters imho. Also maybe make the tabs easier to read.
  • please get at least one design element that refers to the vive. Right now this subrredit looks very generic. For example like in r/steamvr, a silhouette of the headset behind the subscribe section or sth. like that.
  • and this is more a wish: can we have a banner which has something to do with the vive? They have really nice looking pictures in the trailer or on the website and some don't show the headset at all (if you don't want so much CI (or whatever). For example: 1, 2 (i really like this one), 3 ...
