What was your "Fuck this shit I'm out" moment?

Back when the living-together part of my relationship with my now fiancé was still new and I wasn’t 100% comfortable indulging in all my guilty pleasures in front of him (especially about food as he’s a chef) I found myself home alone one night. So while he was at work cooking fancy food for fancy people I decided to go full single-self and spend the night parked in front of trash reality tv and have McNuggets for dinner.

The Macdonalds was about a block from our place so I walked. I went inside and got in line wondering how many extra dipping sauces I can ask for without embarrassing myself when out of the corner of my eye I notice a kerfuffle by the drive through window. The employee was arguing with a customer. The argument was incredibly petty, but egos prevailed and suddenly the employee ditched his headset and ran for the door. Then every single employee of the Macdonalds followed, rushing from behind the counter from the kitchen, one even dropped the mop mid-swipe to join the fray. Male, female, everyone. Not a single employed soul remained in the building, just our small group of incredibly confused customers.

The customer had gotten out of his car to face the mob and lots of yelling was heard. Then customer calmly walked back to his car and some of the employees started coming back inside which is when I overheard someone say the guy had gone back to his car to get his gun.

On cue we the customers turned tail and walked out the opposite door as if we were all of one “Fuck this.” mind.

I love McNuggets, but I’m not willing to die for them. Went to the Rally’s across the street and got a Baconator instead.
