At wit's end with att guys. Last week, you may remember my story of a sales rep lying about the speed I would get, and me needing to file FCC complaint, for corporate to call and profusely apologise saying they'd fire the dude.

Since then, I got a call recording app and decided to give att another shot since Comcast is even worse.

Well, the rep told me I'd be getting 300mb speed with no data cap for $50 a month. I asked several times to confirm this and he did.

Tech comes over, drills into my wall, sets it up, and boom, I got a data cap. I send the recording of the conversation to att corporate complaints, and they call yesterday profusely apologizing saying that the tech not only lied about the data cap, but that my monthly bill would be $70 instead of $50. They offered to cancel it all at no cost to me. I asked well what about drilling in my wall and early termination fee I paid with Comcast and now I'm waiting to hear from higher ups about that compensation.

What do I do here if they say no compensation? Small claims court?
