r/DayZ is looking for new moderators!

How often do you visit and participate on this subreddit? Are there any factors that would affect your participation? I visit this sub pretty much everyday, however I don't post that often. Is there anything on the subreddit would you like to be involved with in particular? Contests and events? Weekly thread maintenance? Helping style the CSS? Other? I prefer working with people directly so contests and events is a big yes from me. Are there any concerns with the subreddit right now that you would tackle as a Moderator? What are they, and how would you go about addressing them? I'm seeing a lot of content that is borderline wasteful but hey, it gets hundreds of up votes so who am I to judge. Do you have any new suggestions for current moderation standards, new weekly threads, or other improvements? Yes or no will suffice here, we're not here to steal your ideas (unless you want to share them anyway, that's cool too)! Yes Despite best intentions and efforts, there will always be users who will criticize your actions, make false accusations, or otherwise put you down. How have you dealt with discontent, disapproval, or disagreement in the past, and how are you prepared to handle this criticism in a position of power? I generally just put them out of my head, I have a personal "don't feed the trolls" policy. Multiple years of xbox live and using the internet in general has made me this way. Why do you want to be a Moderator? I'm a tier 3 medic with the /r/redditrescueforce and am a combat medic with the /r/redditrescuerangers. I'm always looking for new ways to get more involved in the dayz community. Do you have any prior moderation experience on reddit? No. When did you join r/DayZ? What is your in-game experience like? My game experience was always trying to be friendly. I joined the RRF because of this. With over 100 rescues under my belt and 1500+ hours of play time I'm trading the "friendly" play style for a more sinister one.
