"Radiate Positivity" needs to quit being used as a means to silence opinion on this subreddit.

In general, I cannot support a mentality that refuses to address negative feelings. This is called denial, and it's bad for a person's emotional state, and it's bad for a person's ability to truly enjoy themselves.

It's not a permanent thing. It's for one week a year-- it's a time to set aside your worries and have a good time with other people who have also set aside their worries and want to have a good time. It's beautiful.

It's important for people to be able to talk about their issues. Not allowing it or putting them down for trying to do so is just so, so wrong.

Why is it important for you to go on the internet and tell everyone that you don't agree with the time slot that [band xyz] has? It contributes nothing but bad vibes, and I literally cannot think of one single positive purpose it could serve.

Also, no one is putting anyone down but you (and the rest of the Debby Downers). The rest of us just want to have a good time.

In the end, the negativity that you hate so much is, for the most part, your fault. These people want to have a conversation, and you want them to shut up and "stay at home." Now THAT is negativity. Not to mention simply rude and disrespectful.

I don't hate anything, here. That's kind of my point- I'm not like you. I have nothing but positivity in my heart, and I can't wait to let it explode all over that farm!

I'm sorry you've misinterpreted my intentions.

You should really learn to radiate positivity more. This is a bitch-free haven.

It sure is, but I'm not sure what you constitute as bitching. Do you think I'm bitching about bitching?

To be honest, I feel bad for you.
