She's a character that has been heavy characterized as being from a cold place. Her wearing such a small underwear and only that is not normal. Also you must wonder why they decide to pick that as her FA. There are a dozen other situations we could have her with the wolf, even napping for that matter, without that extreme focus on her naked body.

First of all I would agree with this if it wasn't for the fact that she is sleeping in some kind of hideout with her wolf and a blanket. But aside from the clothing I think that her waking up near her wolf is a great FA scenario and something more unique over so many other FA. I do agree that they could have put less focus on her being in her underwear though.

Also, just because it happened before, and worse, doesn't mean we should just ignore it. I personally have never been a fan of the "it's worse somewhere else" mentality.

I am mostly using this mentality here because I feel like the reaction is way worse for this than it was for almost anything else in FGO NA except for like Jack.

But none of that is important. The most important thing to take from this which you acknowledged as well is that people are just taking it too far. No matter which side you are on people are taking it extremely serious for almost no reason, at the end of the day we all just wanna play some games, gamble ourselves into despair and grind our characters to max, man. No reason to take it all so far.
