This is a really hard one to word over text only but I’ll try my best…

Prolly gonna get downvoted but I never really enjoyed these sorts of posts. Yes, many Mexicans and other Latin Americas are also natives. But the cultural surrounding native identity in the United States and Latin America are very different. Yes groups in both places are both native. Them being the same people though? I’m not sure how many would agree. Groups within the US and groups within LatinAm are different, and that’s not a bad thing. It’s just a thing that I personally think is significant enough where you can’t ignore in favor of a pan-Indian idea. Also, the idea that Mexicans=native is a false once. Not saying that’s what your saying, just saying that’s trap that these conversations often tend to fall into.
