this is excellent. i think doctor strange would be the kind of person who disdains both sides because nearly everyone knows less than he does, so he recognizes most political arguments aren't about the actual policy but about culture and beliefs. likely pulls a dr. house and just plays devils advocate in any political conversation to shut the other person down, no matter what their opinion is. registered republican but actually gives a shit about the world so he's pretty disengaged with the current GOP. also doing that whole cosmic thing so that takes up some time.

peter quill is just chris pratt, classic suburban conservative dude who you can't really hate because he's basically a human golden retriever who means well.

rhodes is a classic moderate military democrat, pragmatism above ideology.

i could see bucky barnes being MAGA but he loves steve too much to argue politics with him so he'd just do whatever steve does.
