The Reasons why Reverse Sexism is the new Sexism

It's almost as if they say "privilege" but actually mean "superiority." Let me explain: Saying "superiority" outright would not sound very good, because a) it is self-belittling & b) you can't fix inferiority. Now the funny thing is men, as a whole, do not consider themselves superior. Nor are they. They mostly believe each sex has it's positive and negative qualities. Sure, a handful of "guys" talk like they are the overlords of women, and for that matter, some women do the same about men. I'm not talking about those people. But it seems as if when individuals refer to this supposed privilege, they are either talking about the Apex Male (CEOs, celebrities, etc.) or are just plain pissed because THEY THEMSELVES see men as superior. The misnomer being that because men might be better or more practiced at certain things, it means some injustice is occurring. They wonder "Why can't I be treated and perform exactly like a man?", because you are not. Any more than a man can be treated 100% like a woman without a very convincing sex change operation, and even then never truly 100%. It's very insulting to everyone involved to say that men have it better than them in some ways, so they want deserve those things too, but not the bad things because their self-perceived inferior nature can't handle it.

On a side note, I often hear specific complaints about this so called privilege that are trivial at best, and more like inconveniences rather than privileges. For example, the whole "Men don't have to worry about being constant targets of the opposite sex." Well lat-ti-da. What a horrible thing to have men pining over you for you to choose from. I'm sure a great deal of men would gladly turn the tables on that and don't consider having to approach women at risk of humiliation a "privilege."
