OK, just heard from the recruiter. Drug screen passed. Used Magnum Synthetic Urine (4oz) at Quest Diagnostics.
Here is my tale of what I had to do.
So get your synthetic urine kit and read the instructions until you know them by heart. I did several test runs of heating the sample, wrapping it with the heat pack (in Magnum's case on the opposite side of the "shampoo" bottle of the thermometer strip) and stashing it in a little pocket I sewed into my underwear to hold the bottle. I then I wore it around for awhile to get used to it. I'm a big guy and I didn't crush it or damage it any way sitting on it.
I also practiced pouring the sample, to the point where I could pull out the bottle and empty it almost like I was taking a real whiz. I got a little freaked at the mirror in the collection room, but thanks to the geography, I was able to turn my back to the mirror and face the toilet.
So, got to the collection facility and I was all 007 cool. They took me to the room and I checked the temp on the magnum bottle, it was at 98 degrees. I poured it into the sample collection cup and the temp strip read on their collection cup read 96-97. I poured just about the whole sample into the collection cup and what was left I put into the toilet, splashing some drops on the rim (for authenticity). I would suggest bringing a stir stick to whip up some bubbles as mine looked pretty stagnant, but I didn't want to hassle with getting the foam out of the bottle (or contaminate the sample with toilet water, which they check for I'm told) for fear of the sound giving me away. I quietly squeezed the air out of the bottle and tucked the bottle back in it's little sock and, gave it a check to make sure it was secure.
I called the tech and he looked at the temp, and then dumped it into the bottles for the lab. I signed and initialed the paperwork, and then strolled the fuck out of there. I didn't get patted down, but I have at other places, which is why I went for the taint storage method.
TLDR: Used Magnum synthetic urine for a 5 panel at Quest Diagnostics and passed.
