I don't give a shit, this is in the past. No need for throwaways.

I nearly tried to commit suicide in middle school. Figured out how to steal my mom's sleeping pills and everything. I was severely bullied (nasty rumors, the homophobic insults, etc...), and my family has a history of depression in general.

They returned home earlier than expected, so I was forced to postpone the attempt. Then, my mom moved the sleeping pills and I couldn't find them again. Dunno if she knew or not.

I really didn't want to traumatize my parents with a... messier suicide. I could have taken a knife and slit my wrists in the bathtub. But finding that would have hurt them too much, so I decided against this method.

Why the fuck am I still alive? Why didn't I actually make an attempt? I don't fucking know. Well, they all flunked out or transferred, so I guess it worked itself out. Kinda funny how they knew that I was lesbian before I even realized it myself, though.

Life's been better these days. Going to be graduating high school next year and am one of the top students. Got some amazing friends who accept me. My parents are coming around to having a gay daughter. So, I haven't really thought about this entire clusterfuck for years at this point.
