Reddit, what did you "worst roommate ever" do to deserve that title?

This is on-going right now.

I am subletting a room in a three bedroom apartment. Great deal, very nice place. One of the other tenants is also subletting.

Conveniently, the guys were are subletting from did not let us know about J before we moved in. He is the third roommate.

It's obvious from that start that this guy is not well put together. I get a text over winter break (having had no contact with this guy previously) asking if I will be in the apartment in the next week so that I can go into his room while the landlord is there checking the smoke detectors in every room to hide his weed... I don't know how he thought I was going to pull that off. Shove my way into his room while the landlord is there and sneakily kick a bag of weed under his bed?

That was just the start.

This guy moves in after break and promptly starts leaving shit everywhere. He takes over the common space and turns it into his personal shit pile. He owns utensils and dishes, but he exclusively eats off of paper plates, drinks out of plastic cups, and uses plastic utensils. And he leave them everywhere. The key trait of disposable products is that you can dispose of them. Instead, he stacks dirty solo cups strategically everywhere.

Things get really insane one night a month ago. It's the evening. I am taking a shower after the gym. I hear screaming through the walls. It sounds like a young girl. This guy is 21.

I turn off the water and listen. The screaming grows increasingly hysterical.

"There are lumps in my throat and they're getting bigger and I can't breathe!!!!"

Mumbled responses from his mother on the phone. He has it on speaker. He is in the other bathroom screaming into the phone while looking mirror.

Evidently he has started taking pictures of the inside of his mouth and texting them to her.

"See?! SEE?! THERE ARE LUMPS IN MY THROAT!"

"J******, I don't see them. There is nothing there."

"ARE YOU FUCKING RETARDED!? ARE YOU FUCKING RETARDED!? I CAN'T BREATHE I CAN'T BREATH!"

This kept going. I left.
