Reddit, what is a movie or show you hated that you gradually grew to love?

There used to be a show called RedEye on Fox News of all places.

It was a bizzare, 3 AM talk show where guests ranged from Sharrod Smalls and Amy Schumer to the lead singer of Gwar and Andrew WK. The show was seriously bizzare and took several episodes to get used to but once you did, it was fucking gold.

For example, the owner of Girls Gone Wild would use his phone call from prison to report in as their "Prison Correspondent". They had a segment dedicated to any news regarding Matthew Mcaughnahey, with a shirtless guy dedicated as their correspondent specifically for this.

The show was basically just a group of comedians, musicians and bitter journalists who weren't in the "A-crowd" at Fox rambling about the most obscure stories like friends at a bar.

Unfortunately, it began to get really popular and higher ups at Fox noticed, started issuing mandates for the show, removed host Greg Gutfeld and gave him a really watered down version of the show centered around politics and piece by piece, the show dissolved.

Easily the first show I can think of when I think of "what the fuck am I watching?" becoming "I love this show".
