Reddit, when did you know you had to quit your job?

2 different times when I knew I absolutely had to quit. I worked at a warehouse job that was very hard labor, i was very underpaid, and a ton of things they had me do was very dangerous that was not up to code but I needed the job because I was in trouble with the law. Right after I was cleared. I quit. I refused to get stuck in that cycle. I went to college and one of my jobs was working at an oil shop. I worked late, after hours, came in early, etc... and you guessed it. I wasn't paid for that. I then realized that I was being undercut on my regular wages. So, obviously I quit. Although, I couldn't do it immediately because it wasn't easy to find another job. People really don't understand the true struggle of a man that wants to move on in life after he has had a serious run in with the law. Jobs will take advantage of you and the police will treat you like shit every time you get pulled over. It's hard man. Really hard. And i understand why so many get stuck in the loop.
