I was coming back from a long day of studying and my phone had died. I walk into my room and see someone under my roommate's blankets, let's call him J, so I figured it was just him sleeping. I leave my phone to charge, grab my jacket, and head out to grab some food. I see my other roommate, call him T, in the lobby and he asks if J was still in the room. I say yeah, but he's asleep. He gives me a confused look but I shrug it off and head out.

When I came back a few hours later, J had left but T was getting ready for bed. I checked my phone and saw that J had texted me and T saying he was gonna have his girlfiend over. That's when I realized J wasn't alone under the blankets and that he was definitely not asleep. I also realized how awkward I was just waltzing in like nothing happened, and taking my sweet ass time to get out.

I told T what happened and he just laughed at me. T let J know that he needed something so he gave the exact time he'd come to pick it up, and that's why I saw him in the lobby and he gave me a confused look when I said he was sleeping.

Needless to say, I avoided J for about a week until we both stopped being embarrassed.
