Redditors who quit their jobs in a blaze of glory, what's your story?

I was 16 I think, and I got a job working at McDonalds like 2 days a week. I accepted the job and they hired me knowing that I could really only work two days per week due to sports / other commitments.

Anyway, after about 3 weeks, they scheduled me 5 days in a row, even though I had given them my schedule of days that I couldn't work. So, I told them I couldn't come in. They were not pleased when I didn't show up.

Fast forward to the next week, I come in and am working in the back, mopping the floor and cleaning the equipment, and the boss tells me I have to wash some meat trays. I walk back there and there's a mountain of them. Like I'm 6 foot tall, and between the cart that's full on the bottom shelf and the ones on top, it's over my head.

(meat trays are what they use to keep the hamburger patties warm after they're cooked, before they go on sandwiches, basically the patties come off the grill, into the long skinny trays, grease and all, and sit until they are used).

So, I go ahead and start cleaning, and honestly I think it was an hour but it could have been less, but I've cleaned every one of these fuckers, probably 5 pounds of grease, but I'm done. They tell me to go on break, so I do, and 10 minutes later I come back and they tell me to clean the rest of the grease trays, which they wheel in on another cart, almost as big as the first.

I took my uniform off, walked out in my t-shirt and shorts, and never went back. Told the manager to go fuck himself (which was just me being a dick 16 year old, shouldn't have done that), and made them send me my last check for $10.17 or whatever it was I had earned that week.
