Redditors who quit their jobs in a blaze of glory, what's your story?

Last year I worked at a gas station. The pay was decent for a college student and the tips were great. At the end of every shift we were taking a part of the money we made and put it in an envelope (we kept it in the manager's office). We were raising that money to cover the missing items in the inventory. After a few months we did notice that there was still a shitload of items missing. No way! That's impossible. So we realised that the manager was screwing us, taking the money and not covering the inventory. But we had no solid proof. She (the manager) was offered a promotion so someone else had to replace her. But the thing is she had to hand over the station with a clean inventory. So we had to work our asses off every day (it was august. it was horrible) to raise the money we needed to cover the missing items. At the end of the month I took like 10 days off so I can study for my exams. After 2 days she calls me to come at work because my days off were over. So I handed my resignation but she wouldn't let me go for another two weeks until they would hire someone else. And she said that if I wouldn't show up she will end my contract for bad behaviour. So I went there for another two glorious weeks. I was high every day and I didn't give a single fuck about the tasks. I was just sitting outside smoking and waiting to go home.

So last day finally arrives. Big meeting. Big bosses came to see how things were going. It was a crowded day and I was at the register. Angry customer comes in and tells me to work faster. 'And if I don't?' .He didn't expect a loser like me to talk to him like that. 'Do you know who you're talking to?' 'I don't care. gtfo'. He was like 'Do you know who I am?'. 'As I said, I don't give a fuck. Now leave before I throw your ass out' . As he was leaving he said 'Starting tomorrow, you won't work here anymore'. No shit, Sherlock. Big boss noticed this, so he started giving shit to my manager. I don't know if she got the promotion or not. I hope not. Still hate her.
