Seriously, some people are awful people. Some people are good people with awful ideology. They might associate with each other, but that doesn't mean we oughtn't try to differentiate between the two. Put yourself in the shoes of someone less fortunate than either of us. It's very easy to hate someone if you feel like your hard earned money that you depend on is being spent trying to make a politician pull a publicity stunt by "helping" someone else. Race is just a construct that we cling to to justify the hate. For a lot of people on the left, social class is the construct they cling to to justify the hate. Different strokes for different parties.
