The project is so ambitious and there are so many factors all intertwined that having a discussion over the nitty-gritty of one of the systems while not knowing anything about the rest of them feels... fruitless.

Especially so when Steven has already more or less made up his mind about how it will all somewhat look like combined. We don't know the half of it even. We don't have much say outside of what we know, unless they specifically ask for it on the forums. It's more like we're in the role of either saying yes to the progress they show or point out a glaring issue they somehow missed along the way.

With that said, most of these concerns, I feel, can have tens of correct answers yet still be wildly different from one another and with the way they can potentially interact with the rest of the game systems. For me, an outsider, it looks like a puzzle that can be anything at this point as I only have a few corner pieces to place down.
