I just googled events that happened on my birthday and this came up

1923 Bulgaria - - To Late A Bulgarian man captured by the Greeks returned home and saw his wife for the first time after four years. Unfortunately, he had returned too late and his wife had already remarried to someone new. She had thought he was dead that he was missing so long. Shortly after finding out about the new marital status of his former wife, the newly-returned Bulgarian prisoner left the country. He decided it was best to let the new couple to be happy.

Also Josef Stalin rose to power on my birthday. So yeah in a grand scheme of things not a good day for my birthday
