Did I even say it was because of Goldfarb? No I didn't. Read again, start over.

I can't help but think that David Goldfarb departure had at least something to do with it. That guy seemed to have very cool ideas for the game.

And what about what they bring now? All they know how to do is to deliver masks and more masks, with a few underwhelming "heists" in between.

They fixed many of those problems (as you pointed out) and the many heists they released for free at first were quite innovative. They did put life into the game, and a lot of it.

You're saying that their glory days were had under Goldfarb. The periods of time you think were the greatest were the ones when Goldfarb was around. The periods you think of as worse came after Goldfarb. And I did write "under Goldfarb", not "because of Goldfarb". Read again, start over.

Bloated rhetorics instead of arguments, yeah.

So that's a perk they haven't changed.

I argued against this by stating how they differed.

The difference is that they don't even have the cool ideas in the first place.

I argued against this by asking for proof that Goldfarb was behind the cool ideas, since the difference was between current OVK's ideas and Goldfarb's cool ideas. If you hadn't specifically said that you thought Goldfarb had such great ideas I wouldn't have contested it in this way. If you had simply said "OVK has worse ideas now than OVK had a year ago" I would have said something about that instead. You didn't, so I responded to what you did say. You said that they breathed "a lot of life" into the game with the "many free heists" of which there were four, where one was shit, one debatable, one pretty good and one really good. I repeat that four isn't many when the number of heists the game had to begin with was weak. Especially since their releases were spaced out, so there was lots of time to become tired of them as they were the only new content to play with for stretches of time.

And what about what they bring now? All they know how to do is to deliver masks and more masks, with a few underwhelming "heists" in between.

I'll repeat that this is exactly what it felt like the first six months of the game's life and it honestly didn't feel much better for a long while, aside from Shadow Raid which was great. Hotline Miami and Hoxton Breakout have been some of the highlights. I didn't find the Bomb Heists to be any worse than Armored Transport or Election Day. Which heists from early last year were so good that this one is an underwhelming "heist"?

When it comes to ideas though, and above all to the personality and character of the game, then yes I do think the game was better off early last year.

Primary reason as to why things looked bright to me early last year for me was that their letdowns hadn't piled up as much yet, even though they had let us down, delayed stuff over and over again and released the mediocre Diamond Store Heist as some sort of bribe to shut the community up. Now we have a longer timespan to look at and all the bad stuff is more apparent. It's very easy to look back and think of those days as great, but when I compare the content, the updates, the promises and the ideas they presented then and now I'm not getting an image that is nearly as rose-tinted looking back. The new Diamond Heist was also an exciting idea with shit execution. The two new enemy types are also novel ideas. A car shop heist is a fresh idea. Updating the old heists with side jobs is a fresh idea. Golden Grin Casino seems to be sparkling with exciting ideas. So no, I don't buy the idea that they don't have ideas anymore.
