Renovation halfway point. Need help picking the lighting, and some furniture ideas.

I would love advice/ideas for the lighting? I am considering these styles for now, and getting wall sconces to match.

Also what to do with the ceiling, stay with white, or embrace the darkness with the same as wall color?

Finally a good use for the 2nd nook as it is currently slated for a reading nook so it would ony see 4hrs a week or so of use.
