I say anyone can learn to program computers well. Ive done it as a hobby for years and now go to school for it and hope to have a career there.

that doesn't mean its true. if I tried to do this work it would take decades of learning, from books in a library, and a large investment in tools that would cost more than I have.

I Don't think everyone Is capable of it.

sure, with unlimited time and effort, we could all be doing our own car repairs, writing all the software and OS we use, and building homes from the ground up.

and while I believe everyone should TRY to be handy...

its just not reasonable to think everyone can or even has the time to.
