You can't be any more wrong. First of all, you don't speak for all the bard players out there. Secondly, not all bard players plays the class for high dps. Last but not least, you have missed out on the most important point of the class, which is mobility.

I for one chose Bard because it is a generic physical range class which is not a caster. I enjoy moving around and dealing damage. Most, if not all MMO offers both casters and a physical range dps class. We're given variety and now it is kind of robbed from us.

Yea, some of you may love the Wanderer's Minuet change which adds cast time for all skills but I wonder why. Is it because even before WM was introduced, you didn't see the need to kite while killing the enemy? That's just bad Bard play. Reminds me of Cabal Online where all class just face tanks all enemies, no matter melee, range or caster. So perhaps that's why you're okay with Wanderer's Minuet, because you have been face tanking mobs and didn't try to avoid being in melee range all the time.

We're given the advantage of mobility. We are able to kite while dealing damage although it's low but that's our class's benefit. Now with WM implemented don't you find that it is quite stupid for a range class to face tank mobs? Not to mention the ridiculousness of correlation bow and cast time.

All in all, you do not represent every Bard players out there. There are some players who loves the class for it's mobility and that has been changed which has robbed us of our once mobile class. We can't even hop over to MCH due to Gauss Barrel. Basically, there aren't any class which offers range dps without cast time anymore. FFXIV:HW has been reduced to either Melee or Caster/Pseudo-Caster.
