Research has shown that the brain has a very strong racial bias in response to seeing others in pain or suffering. As a result, we have much stronger biologically-driven empathy towards people of our own race. However, the level of empathy increases the more a person spends time with other races.

Examples of other cultures priviledge that equals and somewhat negates what you speak of... I watch Blackish and Fresh off the Boat... I watched Cosby and Sanford and Son as well as What's Happening. I like Chris Rock as much as George Carlin so your media argument is a tad silly. The fact is the really popular shows are inter racial. Despite the predominance of crap on TV. Been pulled over by a black cop on a bike... Only time I was ever ticketed. Most cops in LA are Asian or Hispanic and one Hispanic one screwed me once by not giving his fellow Latino a ticket for wreck less driving when he rear ended me going 60 in a 35 and then attacking my boyfriend... Could not be sure it wasn't because of race. But I did beat the ticket on merit with an ethnic judge... Judaism is an ethno religion. Most of the time during black history month they never mention Jewish people who hung from trees... I was discriminated against WITH an African American gentleman at the DMV parking ticket office in Los Angeles...by a group of Latino women. I live in Reno. It's as hard to arrange Jews together here as it is Africans. The ONE time I used my skin color for a way out was in jail... That day it was more my class level and my articulation rather than my race though. It got me to immigration. Which got me out on home release. For all intents and purposes I am white skinned. But I am actually Middle Eastern. I'm told I have priviledge all the time but Inlive in huge cities most of the time and really don't see any upper hand except money. When you live near Calabasas, Dre, Snoop, Football Players and famous Mariachis all have million dollar homes with pools. Their cars denote their standing much more than their color. It's not black and white either. We have so many races here. It's a different world now. What I am saying is that even this inherent thing is broken apart completely by education. So you're telling someone who may have been educated from day one that they are inherently racist? That is hogwash.
