You don't need anyone's permission to feel an emotion. I do strongly recommend you get the vaccine, for your own sake. It's been developed by qualified medical experts and has been well-tested. I've gotten it as has my sister, who is herself a family medicine doctor. You will be making the correct decision, but you still are allowed to be nervous about doing so.

Medical decisions are serious business and your personal health is very important. Not to mention the misinformation and anti-vax fearmongering that's been spread about it. It makes perfect sense that you'd be scared and no one is entitled to demand you not be.

But please, again, do get the vaccine. You may be scared now, but I guarantee you'd be quite relieved and thankful for it afterward.
