Describe the issue(s) you need help with. I have been using the same routine for almost a year. My skin is combination (I think) and very sensitive with redness on my cheeks and melasma on my upper lip.
I didn't start breaking out until I was in my late 20s (I'm 33 now) and it is almost always on my chin and I would only get 1 or 2 pimples at a time. I started out with just a simple cleanser and a BHA (Stridex). I incorporated everything else in over time and saw a huge improvement in my skin. I would still occasionally get a pimple or 2, spot treat it and move on.
Last week I broke out all over my chin, at least 4 large pimples. I used BP to spot treat along with my regular routine and now I have more pimples. The original group is still there, but they are mostly flat now, but I'm concerned because I have never broken out like this before. I have also noticed that my melasma looks darker and the texture of my skin feels uneven and rough. I've had no change in diet or lifestyle. I am just wondering if my routine looks ok, maybe I've outgrown it. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
