Yea it’s awful. It’s why I left America. I used to live in a shitty neighborhood and slept with a Glock on my nightstand. Heard gunshots in my neighborhood almost weekly. Hated it. Had a concealed carry and felt naked without it.

Saved my life one night when two armed guys tried to rob me. One pulled up his shirt to show me his weapon. I drew mine.

As soon as I drew my weapon they ran. One turning back and apologizing. I think he thought I was going to shoot him in the back. Fuck that. Gas station parking lot. One of those gas starting with bulletproof glass where you have any interaction with the attendant through a speaker and a push out slot drawer.

For you foreigners nothing good happens at a gas station in downtown America after midnight.

I never want to be armed again or live in the States. And I’m ex military, love my country and consider myself a patriot.
