S.F.'s JFK Drive should remain closed to cars permanently, city report recommends

Very presumptuous that all motorists are non locals who don’t pay tax. I’m an SF tax paying resident who doesn’t live close enough to the park to walk there, and prefer the comfort, convenience, and reliability of my car as opposed to Muni. Muni is not sufficient for 90% of the people during the day, especially families who need trunk space to carry various things. Plus if it truly were sufficient, 90% of the population would be taking it, which clearly is not the case. The existing paved roads were meant for cars to navigate the huge park area. If pedestrians want to be able to run around someplace without having to watch for cars and cyclists, I suggest the use of the many grass fields and sports fields that are perfect for running around on. The park must cater to all needs, not just just a small majority.
