I'm really big into micro-expressions. Watch Zied's face carefully when Rebecca tells him things such as there won't be a divorce, and keeps pressuring him about whether or not he wants children. His eyes dart briefly to the right and you can almost see the gears engaging at high speed, while he realizes that he has to agree with her, but he has many, many years to change his mind. I like Zied, and I think he has genuine feelings for Rebecca, but his current willingness to be quietly subservient to her, won't last forever. Once they're married, and a little time passes, he'll be in much more of a position of power than he occupies right now, and I'll be very surprised if he doesn't eventually assert himself as the strong Muslim man he really is.
