Not just corporate greed. General greed and selfishness too. Many of your fellow countrymen dont share the camaraderie and positive sentiments about taking care of their community. It itll keep a few dollars in their pockets theyd gladly step over you. People dont get what Americans who voted for trump meant when they said he “fixed” things related to healthcare. If theyre (relatively) healthy theyd much rather not pay for themselves or god forbid anyone else’s healthcare costs. So many people dont recognize the benefits of a strong social safety net, they just see the dollars and cents in their personal bank accounts. That number of people is increasing as housing and food costs increase.
