Saw a guy here (or somewhere) post "My girlfriend asked me to put on a condom after not seeing each other for 4 months" | and I want to ask what's wrong with asking that?

This heavily depends on how something is communicated. My fiancé and I did ld for a while, and I had several health issues during our time together (e.g. infections, lap surgeries etc.). Hence, despite being on birth control (most often two forms), there were instances where I insisted on using a condom too.

Let's say your girlfriend asks you to put on a condom after not seeing each other for months. And let's also just assume she is 100% not or did not cheat on you.

I mean if a couple never uses condoms...and then suddenly one of them wants to start using them....most might be confused and take a step back to figure out what's going on. That's where open communication comes in.
