I seem to be the only person on earth who hates SoJ.

The reason Case 2 was so bad for me is, well, first of all, it didn't make any sense (they couldn't identify who the body was? What?) and second of all, Retinz's motive was so... anticlimatic.

See, as I was playing Case 2 for the first time, I was really pumped up to see Retinz break down. I think we can all agree that Retinz is the number 1 asshole in the entire game. He really reminded me of Keemstar, the way he makes profit off of other people's pain. However, as it turns out, he was actually Reus, the forgotten magician who's been planning the vengence against thd Gramarye family.

There's my problem right there. I expected the breakdown of Retinz, the evil producer who'd do anything for profit, not Reus, a generic vengence-seeking antagonist that you see in every freaking crime solving games/movies/books whatever. So naturally, the whole buildup until that point was just completely watered down. The letdown was so bad that I became reluctant to picking the game up again after finishing that case.
