When I was about 8 years, I found out that I could trigger a certain sensation inside me:
It starts at my head/neck and feels a bit like a mix of electrical surge/adrenalin rush/vibration being pushed down my spine and through my extremities.
I can pulse it or uphold it for a certain length of time (~30 seconds) but it's exhausting.
I tried to talk to other people about it when I was a child but no one understood what I was talking about.
I totally forgot about it for years.
Some days ago I suddenly had to think about it and spontaneously googled for "voluntary adrenalin rush".
I was stunned when I found a lot of forum posts that are talking about this thing.
Someone mentioned that his eyes dilate when he does this, so I took a mirror to see if my pupils do the same, check! they do, not much but clearly visible.
Here are some of the posts I've found:
I discovered at a young age that I was able to give myself a bodyrush and/or headrush at will.
What I can do and whatever this willful spurt of energy is, (I've stuck to calling it a voluntary adrenaline rush due to the way it feels and similarities between the two) it isn't a hoax

So I've been able to do this thing since I was a little kid and never new what the heck it was. I can voluntarily trigger this reaction in my body that makes my skin tingly (lol) and is followed by a bit of a rush.

For several years now I've had this ability to voluntarily control something from in my body. When I do it I sort of think of the area where I think the kidneys would be (or I suppose the adrenal glands.) When I do this I feel a surge through my body, my heart will beat faster, and my pupils will dialate.

Does anyone of you redditors know what I'm talking about? Can you do the same?
