I agreed with you up until your last sentence. You were awesome at making the distinguishment that men who club aren't all rapists, perverts, or otherwise society's scum. However, your last sentence just, at the last second, states it is club culture, going back on everything you said. We were so close to getting a collective upvote. But instead we just carpet bombed the entire premise, raped all the reasoning, and virtually annihalted all logic.
Overriding western culture is to be respectful, intelligent, inquisitive, attractive, and probably more than anything else, the best you can be while remaining humble. Microchasms of society such as clubs, which about 99% of current people go to at least once in their life, mean that they should follow the same values, because people shouldn't change values based on where and when ever they are.
What clubs are, are a place that we go to primarily meet new people. Currently, western society as a whole has decided that people should gather and talk around alcohol, drugs, and Music.. Common interests, most of the time, for the younger generations. Myself included.
It pains me these days that there is such a pessimistic view of clubs these days coming from women. When you go to a club, you go to be around people and it is obvious that you will, by the law of averages, probably encounter a lot of free-floating males compared to females for many reasons.
However, the one thing I find most often at the clubs are not horny groups of guys slobbering over women. It is groups of women who literally won't give men the time of day for whatever reason. As a male, this has made me question current female values in western culture.. It also makes the male side probably collectively feel that clubs are full of women who are full of themselves. We go for the 1% of women who do talk to all of us, respect us, humor us, and intellectually stimulate us. It is saddening that the 1% of males who are deviants, however, end up defining all of western male culture to women.
It goes both ways. The 1% of women we talk to end up defining the western female culture to men.
