[Serious] Male Rape Victims of Reddit, what is something about being a male victim that not a lot of people know about?

Thank you for posting this informative thread. Someone very close to me was the victim of this kind of abuse. It was an older female abusing him as a child. It really went a long way to explaining his rage issues. He needs help. He only told me after 15 years of knowing each other. He broke down crying. I wish he'd told me sooner, because him being such an angry bastard would've made so much more sense. Not that I excuse his behaviour, it would've been better to understand where it came from though. As a woman I never legitimately thought of women as 'rapists' or abusers. At first I thought he was joking so I laughed it off. Women don't go around doing that stuff to kids and boys. That's what I thought anyway. Then he started crying, and I was like - 'Fuck. This did happen, and it's just as bad as if you had been raped/molested as a female.' Very hard realisation to come to. We're working through it though. If that bitch crosses my path in this life I'll carve her up like a Christmas ham. Only kidding! I'll hand her over to the proper authorities and do all the relevant paperwork to ensure nothing ever gets done. :/
