I went to prison and found that writing a letter to me was apparently too troublesome for many of them...friends, family, plenty of people.

When I got out, there was a welcome home party, and I was adamant that it was invite only. I wanted to see people who were there to support me throughout my bullshit. I didn't want to just let people pop back into the picture like tadaaaaa, I'm back because fuck that.

Some were butthurt; some never said anything. Regardless, I had a bit more clarity about the people I wanted to allow in my life in those years, so it wasn't really all to difficult to just cut them from my life since they pretty much had already done as much with me.
