[Serious] People who have lived under Sharia law, what was it really like?

I never said anything justifies rape. I haven't justified rape in anyway. One important thing to consider, the data is skewed badly. In fact, you could argue this to your point. Many actual rapes go unreported, many rapes are classified incorrectly, and often allegations are partially or completely fabricated.

Most statistics on the subject are based on information gathered on cases, but also surveys. I think at minimum you could suggest our society promotes dangerous behaviors, but we aren't fostering a rape culture. At least this is something foreign to the part of the country I live in.

Yes, women should be held accountable for their actions. Know your limits. That means alcohol and other things.

Getting black out drunk is a dangerous thing in it's self. You are destroying your body. Getting black out drunk and going home with a stranger is extremely idiotic.

Obviously, not everyone plans to get black out drunk. Things happen, mistakes are made. But what kind of people are you surrounding yourself with when they allow you to get so drunk you are unable to understand what you are doing?

To be more blunt, because let's face it we won't be able to convince each other to see it our way. When the Jenner girls are what our youth is looking up to, and being a drunken floozy is considered cool then we don't have a rape culture, our culture is being raped.
