What is "real" based on? We never went before so we have no Idea what it should look like. Moreover the image quality was terrible which didn't really help out. I don't know if you've realised but we've never been back to the moon.. Apparently "we don't have the same technology" which is just bullshit. Proves we've never been in the first place. Finally, the USSR knew full well they had gotten outplayed. Yet, let's be honest, who would have believed them if they made such claims. The US had already successfully created a global negative public opinion on Russia. So it would have been a waste of time, energy and would have made them look even worse in the eyes of the public. The eye of the public being the key factor of the cold war.
