When I was younger, I had a remove-control RC car that had a video feed equipped on the end of it. It also came with a screen to view where the car was through the camera. I would have hours of fun with this thing, going through my house with it and challenging myself to navigate through the rooms or even obstacles.

Well one day while having a grand time with the car, I had left to go attend to whatever it was that needed my attention. After returning and switching the screen back on to resume, I was not greeted with the same live video from the RC. I instead received a very still image of a house. This was confusing to say the least because that is not where the car was; the car was right next to me on the floor. After analyzing the feed, it became clear that the house I was looking at was a shot of my own home from across the street.

My first obvious thought was that my camera's screen picked up a signal of a video camera that was on the property across from mine, but with that theory also came the knowledge that someone would set up a video cam there in the first place. Be advised, this wasn't any type of security camera, as the house did not have any present. Though even if it did, one of them CERTAINLY wouldn't be aimed to have my own house fill the entire frame. A brief investigation with the screen while across the road proved pointless since: * it appeared to be in the middle of the two houses across from mine where only a few bushes were and * after switching off the car screen and turning it on, the connection settings were all as they usually were with the RC.

I still do have the car/camera in my closet after all of these years, but I still have absolutely no explanation for the situation as well.
