[Serious] What is the ugliest example of greed you've experienced in person?

let some dude crash on our couch and 2 years later he's still here and every roommate but me has moved out, for most of them he's the specific reason for moving out

anyways i found out last week that despite hitting me almost every month with a laundry list of sob stories as to why he can't pay me rent or bills, he's actually been running a pretty successful handyman business (built off of clients which i, for the most part, hooked him up with)

on top of that a former roommate told me something i've suspected since month 1 of living with this guy - despite always hooking him up when i have a good weed connect, over the past few years he's been 'bait and switching' everyone in the house. like, he would bring out a bowl with some real nice kush, smoke with us, ask us if we wanted any - and then come back with some super mediocre, almost mid-grade shit.

so imagine that sort of shit being pulled in almost any interaction with this dude, he's always looking for an angle and always trying to make a buck off people. he's the kind of guy who collects money for a beer run, and then picks up a case of Natty and pockets the difference.

anyways i'm excited because i'm a chill dude, one of those guys who gets asked every so often "hey subspacer, is there anyone you've ever met who actually dislikes you?", and so when i tell this guy we're evicting him and proceed to explain to him the shitty stuff he thought he'd been getting away with, the ultimate "fuck you" is that this guy won't be able to manipulate people we are mutually acquainted with into believing whatever shit he undoubtedly will say. i live in a fairly small town and this guy is going to become the guy who is "such an asshole even subspacer finally lost his shit on him".
