Shadowlands Alpha Interview with Ion

There will be a few one time story moments, time to resolve some of the threads, such as Nathanos.

If we now kill him without two gods at our side that makes it even more of a shitshow retroactively

The Tyrande scenario is a piece of an endgame quest line, not the introduction.

So they gonna keep that, huh? Great, they will resolve the Night Elf genocide by killing their tortured souls. And that's supposed to make that better somehow.

Tyrande will be important in Shadowlands, has a connection to Ardenweald, her story is far from over.

People don't care if Tyrande has story or not. The problems were A: They said she got her revenge (so that thread is dropped. You know, the unanswered genocide one) B: She had no interaction with Azshara.

Covenants

Are still a shit show. Saying it's part of an RPG isn't an argument why it's good. Repeating it doesn't make it true.

Burning Crusade is a logical option.

Propably the best thing to come out of this interview.

Overall really disappointing that Blizzard is still unable to admit mistakes / change course. Hope others will like this expansion, I think I'll sit this one out and wait for BC
