It's a shame our character had his tongue cut out when he was recruited by The Division...I mean, why else does he never speak???

Gtao and rdo and nowhere near division or destiny. Its a different type of game. It works in rockstar games because it doesnt matter. In things like division where youre supposed to be a legend it doesnt. Youre just a background NPC surrounded by actual characters. I honestly didnt mind fallout 4. At least i actually felt like someone and the story wouldnt have worked nearly as well if the character didnt speak. But bethesda games dont typically have character dialogue but instead written dialogue options, which is still leagues ahead of none. Even games like Anthem where its shitty i still prefer cause at least the freelancer feels like someone. Master chief is your balance. As blank slate as it gets while still, to this day, being many peoples favorite main character of all time.

Dragon age Inquisition had a metric ton of dialogue and a voiced protagonist. One of the best games ive ever played as well. Also its probably in the top 3 for games with the most dialogue ever.
